Venal Blood on 35mm Film. It was taken from my own arm vein by a registered nurse in a sterile environment. This was important for me because I have fibromyalgia, which is a chronic pain disease. It was important because I felt not only that if I was going to include blood in my work did it have to be my own but also, it brought my close my work in a way I never would have been able to become before. Not to mention the results were beautiful.
