About

Amber Valentine

Amber Valentine is a multimedia artist from Michigan.

In her spare time, she goes to Value World and buys old National Geographics, vintage encylopedias, books about space and beat up Little Golden Books. Then she cuts them apart and glues them into things she likes looking at.

The majority of her collages are available in many sizees for affordable prices. Like it? Ask to buy it! A.V. will hook you up! Send her a tweet @AmberAudra, a Instagram message @AmberAudra or a gmail email at AmberAudraValentine.

In addition to paper work, Amber is also a 35mm photographer. She was named the first Emerging Artist of 2015 by Lapeer, Michigan's Gallery 194. She was a featured artist at The Northville Gallery, Royal Oak's Lawrence Street Gallery, Toledo's Le So Gallery, Seattle's Radar Station, and has been an artist in residence at Detroit's Two James Distillery, amongst a lot of other places that she has thoroughly enjoyed showing.

She also makes music that was once described as "anticipated" by someone on Twitter.

Her influences include Mary Blair, Frida Kahlo, Francesca Woodman, Hikari Shimoda, Banksy, Kanye West, and Hsiao-Ron Cheng.
